The Vandenberg Outdoor Recreation is open to all active duty, cadets, DoD civilian employees and military retirees.

Airport Shuttle Transportation for Cadets

UPDATE: The airport bus shuttle schedule for Thanksgiving and Winter Break will be available the first week of September. Parents can get the schedule through their cadet or their local parents club.

Holiday bus transportation to and from DIA & COS airports is available for cadets. Call VORC at (719) 333-4602 for dates and times, and to purchase shuttle tickets for November Break, Winter Break and Spring Break.

For Sale

The VORC offers some retail sporting goods where you can find a variety of sports items from equipment to apparel. Check out the special sales at VORC for some real bargains! VORC has a ski shop with sales, rentals and repairs is available. Let us help you get ready for your next outdoor adventure!

Outdoor Adventure Program
Rock climbing, ice climbing and wilderness adventure trips are featured throughout the year including camping, whitewater rafting and skiing. The OAP offers a shuttle service to and from the cadet area for trips. Come see what we have for you! For more information call the Outdoor Adventure Program in the Community Center at 333-2940. For Rent
Check to see what items are in stock before making a reservation. Items include: bikes, skis, snowboards, boots, poles, snowshoes, sporting equipment, ski & snowboard helmets.

Services
Wax & sharpen skis/snowboards, full tune-ups for skis/snowboards, ski/snowboard binding mounts, binding testing, base repair, stone ground finish, ski remounts and bicycle repairs.

Gift Certificates for Cadets
You want to ski but money is tight, right? Why not mention the Cadet ORC Gift Certificate program to your parents or relatives? We offer certificates from increments of $5-$100 to be used for rentals, trips or retail items. VORC is offering overnight trips to beautiful ski areas in Colorado during the upcoming season. There is also a basic ski season rental package available for only $100 and a snowboard rental package for $100. Gift certificates are easy to get. Just have your parents give us a call and the certificates will be sent to you to enjoy.
