As of 9 Jun 2011, the self proctored German Driver License Test (DLT) is now an online test ( https://wwwmil.usafe.af.mil/DLT/default.aspx?TabID=1&Action=Home). The test is opened to all CAC card holders using military computer systems and PCSing to Ramstein Airbase, Spangdahlem Airbase, or any supported GSUs.  That includes Air Force members, DOD civilians, and all other personnel possessing a CAC card and PCSing/processing through an Air Force installation.  Other services not being assigned to one of the above mentioned locations may use this as a study reference site only. Urgent! All Students Currently Enrolled in the Elective Course: E-Exam multiple choice testing goes live 4 March 2011.  This change will require AWC to reset all student electives to ensure each student gets the correct test; this will occur o/a 0800 Central time on 4 March.  Following the reset, ALL students currently enrolled in an elective MUST log into AUSIS and re-select your elective! This applies to ALL students regardless of elective (including Rosetta Stone)! Your elective grade cannot be officially recorded in AUSIS until this is done.  If you have any questions, please email Student Support: awc.dl@maxwell.af.mil

AWC testing has restarted for those students who have completed the certification procedure. If you have any questions please call the Education office at 333-3298.


CCAF offers a Professional Manager Certification (PMC) for qualified senior Air Force enlisted personnel who have demonstrated an advanced level of professional accomplishment.  The purpose of the certification is to recognize the individual's outstanding education and training, which is required to lead and manage Air Force personnel and critical national defense assets. The certification also formally acknowledges the individual's management qualifications and experience. Qualified Air Force enlisted personnel are eligible for this certification.

Any USAFA student participating in the AF Voluntary Education Program will be permitted to check-out any of the General Education books at the USAFA base library.  Books are limited and will be checked-out on a first-come basis. Please note that you will need to print a copy of your class schedule from WebAdvisor and present it to the Library staff as proof of your registration in the course in order to receive your books.

Testing

Testing is a smart and resourceful way to complete your CCAF degree!  Pikes Peak Community College offers CLEP/DSST tests on base every two weeks in the lower level of the Community Center Education/Testing office.  CLEP tests are scheduled at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m., and DSST's are at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.  Please call Alicia at 719-502-3390 to schedule.  There are a number of free resources available to help you, such as the Online Academic Skills Course (OASC) to brush up on your math and English skills, accessed at www.petersons.com/oasc <http://www.petersons.com/oasc> .  You can also use Tutor.com, an online program in which you are paired with a professional tutor to help you with all math, science, social studies, and English subjects free of charge.  Just drop by the USAFA library to get registered, it only takes a few minutes! While you are there, don't forget to check out the free exam study guides.
