The Arts & Crafts Center offers a wide variety of arts & crafts classes and custom matting and framing services. The Center provides a fun work space, tools and plenty of inspiration for everyone to pursue new hobbies, skills and interests.

Pottery Studio

We have  a complete pottery studio with nine pottery wheels, glazes, five kilns.  All clay tools are provided and pottery classes for hand-building and wheel-throwing are offered throughout the year. The studio is available to everyone except when a class is in session. Clay is available for purchase.

Frame Shop

Custom Picture Framing services are provided. We have an extensive selection of framing materials to select from and order and we also keep  a number of budget frame mouldings in stock for  our customers. The framing services include most repairs, glass replacement  and mat cutting with a computerized mat cutter. For those customers desiring to do their own work, we offer classes for the do-it-yourself  picture framing enthusiast.

Engraving Shop

Located within the Arts & Crafts Center is the Engraving Shop providing engraving and personalizing services for awards and recognition. There are  two laser engravers and one diamond-point engraver (for coins & metals) which allows us to accomplish just about every engraving task requested. The Engraving Shop has an extensive inventory  of awards, plaques, figurines, shadow boxes, flag and cadet saber cases and gift items for resale.  Special order service is always available for customers in order to fulfill their specific requirements.

Fees for use of Arts & Crafts Center is $3 per hour, minimum charge of $3. Fees and prices subject to change.

Classes

The most popular courses are Introduction to Matting and Introduction to Framing. Offered monthly, these courses provide our customers the skills necessary for completing personal framing projects. Other regularly scheduled classes are glass art classes to include glass fusing and stained glass and children's craft classes. Specialty classes in jewelry, various art techniques, pottery and children's classes are offered at various times throughout the year.
