We are fortunate to have the only military wood shop in Colorado. The wood shop has tools for everyone from the serious wood worker to the hobbyist. Tools include lathes, scroll saws, routers, band saws, planer, jointer, drum and belt sanders. To complete the list are numerous hand tools for assembly and finishing. For new customers: a safety class is required prior to using the wood shop. Customers with a use card issued from another military facility will receive a local safety briefing prior to use of the wood shop. Storage of projects is limited and must be approved by the manager.
A variety of beginning wood working projects are offered throughout the year.
Current hours for the Wood shop are: 5 - 7:30 p.m. Thursday, 2 - 5:30 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. on Saturdays. Open some Sundays, call 333-4538 for Sunday schedule. USe fee is $4 per hour. Additional fees required for use of specific tools.

FREE. Required before using the wood shop.
Upon course completion, patrons will be issued a safety card,
which is honored at all military wood shops. The Wood Shop
sells hardwoods (special order for some types).
