Located northeast of Falcon Stadium across Stadium Blvd in a highly-treed, rustic location. Reservations can be made 90 days in advance for active duty, 30 days for VHIC, 60 days for Retirees, DoD Civilians and all other eligible users. Location is Satellite-challenged due to heavily-treed sites (no guarantee of reception).

Cadets/Preps, active duty military, retired military, reserves, 100 % DAV, VHIC vets, and categories covered in the USAFA Instruction 34-103. Contractors are not eligible users. Inquire on sponsored guest; current security precautions may prevail. Ordinarily, family and guest may be sponsored by eligible users.
VHIC/AOG ID card holder are authorized to make reservations up to one year in advance for Alumni events. Must be an AOG member with an ID card or have proof of AOG sponsorship.
Alumni graduates frequent USAFA for a variety of social, business, and heritage functions and use of these programs benefits the institution. These graduates will be supported as Priority 23 customers. Fees and charges will be at a higher rate than eligible active duty, retiree, and DoD members. Usage of Cat C Activities will be limited to the visiting hours 9 am - 5 pm, due to base access hours established by Security Forces.
AOG members are not permitted to bring additional guests onto the installation. The USAFA Famcamp does not sponsor additional guests. Guest passes will be required from AOG at check-in for overnight stay.
Note: The Famcamp staff assigns sites by size of RV to maximize the campground. Guest are not allowed to choose sites.
Reservations suggested for peak season, April 1— October 31. Reservation calls accepted starting January 2 for Active Duty, up to 90 days prior (subject to arrival date) and February 2 for DoD ID Card holders-60 days prior (subject to arrival date). Call the campground phone and leave a message and someone will call you back in a timely manner. Please note that the office is closed and the messages are retrieved weekly during the off season. Reservations are made in the order they are taken from the answering machine. Please leave a message!
The campground office re-opens April 1 — October 31. The hours are Sun — Thurs. 9 am to 6 pm and Fri – Sat 9 am to 8 pm. Eligible patrons can call Peregrine Pines FamCamp at: 719-333-4980.

Reservations will be for a period up to 30 days from April 1 — October 31. Maximum stay at FamCamp, per family, during the High Season is a total of 30 days: ref USAFA instruction 34-103, paragraph 2.2.1.
All patrons will be required to present ID card as well as RV/Travel Trailer registration and proof of insurance at check in: ref AFI 34-101 paragraph 18.26.2
During Low Season, November 1—March 31, there is unlimited stay with reduced rates for eligible ID card holders, not to exceed 180 CALENDAR days per year: ref AFI 34-101 paragraph 18.26.
Guests are limited to 14 days per CALENDAR year: ref USAFA instruction 34-103 paragraph 2.24.
No skirting allowed on RV's: ref AFI 34-101 paragraph 18.26.2.
No oversized propane tanks allowed at sites: ref USAFA instruction 34-103 paragraph 2.2.5.

Keeping with the social distance guidelines, knock on the office door and our staff will answer and then meet you at the propane station.
Bottles should be placed near the gate or your RV should be pulled up at the gate and our staff will fill and maintain a safe social distance.
Firearms are not permitted on the Air Force Academy grounds. All firearms must be declared at the time of entry into USAFA. Firearms will be taken to a secured location until the time that the owner departs the Air Force Academy.
